OFYK Architects
OFYK Architects is a Singapore practice designing across a range of typologies. We created their branding and website, including a homepage video — a showcase of their architectural works, made to play fluidly on both mobile and desktop. We were guided by Glenn Murcutt's words, paraphrasing Thoreau — an ethos they carry into every project.
At Apause Studio, we realised the website building process for an architect isn't so different from them building a space after all. Sketching out website layouts is the same as drawing their plans.

They say every line, junction and material is questioned and justified, and that a modest project gets the same care as a complex one. We wanted the website to hold itself to the same standard: a layout resolved the way a plan is, from the palm of a hand to the breadth of a screen.
The site ends the way their studio text does, with an invitation to talk.
